Hi Guys,
I just purchased some D'uucles and the person pronounced their name
Duck-uls. I know the breed started in Belgium but was it the French speaking part? So any help would be appreciated!

the d' in french is just 'duh' not 'dee' it's a combination word short for du uccle, as they do not put two vowels together if i remember correctly from french classes.

ah this is another fun one. one of them that depending on where you're from you'll hear different pronounciations.

miss jayne's got it down though.

alternate pronounciations i've heard include:

duh-ukkle
dee-ukkle
du-clay
du-clair
duckel
dee-ussel
da-ukkle
