the d' in french is just 'duh' not 'dee' it's a combination word short for du uccle, as they do not put two vowels together if i remember correctly from french classes.

The way I've heard it pronounced and say it is "duck l" like the l sound.

okay, i just went to a Belgian website about the city of Uccle.

the pronunciation in BELGIAN is duh-oo-klah

in French duh-oo-clay.

ah this is another fun one. one of them that depending on where you're from you'll hear different pronounciations.

miss jayne's got it down though.

alternate pronounciations i've heard include:

duh-ukkle
dee-ukkle
du-clay
du-clair
duckel
dee-ussel
da-ukkle
