Maybe getting to know peeps in your state via the link i gave you or looking at the breed threads would both be a good start. Just my experience, but leghorns tend to be a tad on the noisy/ flighty side :confused:

@Mimsters I used to have Australorp's before, and they lay pretty good. They didn't handle the heat good enough for my taste though down here as I live in the desert and they are a fluffier breed. They should do better where you are at though.
