Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?

I am fairly new to birds, I help my mom with her ducks and chickens for the past two years but they are honestly extremely independent (large pastures, free range, dogs scare off predators, etc.)

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?

Nine hens, eight ducks, two drakes, a rooster, and a goose!

(3) What breeds do you have?

Not a clue. Mom got them, I feed them.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?

I love not worrying as much about ticks when I go outside, and I love seeing them sprint and Tokyo Drift around corners when I tell them I have a treat (aka veggie scraps.)

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?

I’m a musician! The goose loves honking along when I practice.
