Hi, I just wanted to introduce myself. I have loved chicken since I was a little girl. I currently have 10 girls, 5 Buff Orpintons and 5 Black Sexlinks. They are currently 15 weeks, so we are anxiously waiting for our first eggs. Every morning, my Husband and I wait for their automatic door to open, so we can watch the chicken parade. Some of my other hobbies include crocheting, sewing, and gardening…that is the hobby I share with the girls. I am retired, I have 3 wonderful children, 2 grandchildren and 2 mini schnauzers (that love to visit the girls).

Sounds like you're living your dream. I gave up on gardening until I can fence in the area, after the ducks and chickens destroyed everything last year (and didn't even say thank you for the treats!)
