Hello! I’m new! I’m Stacey and live in North Texas. Our family lives on land, and we love chickens and all animals!
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? We’ve had chickens over a year now. They are so fun!
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have 8 chickens, but would like more!
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have Rhode Island Reds, Sex-Linked, Jersey Giant, and a Black Star chicken.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
My daughter and I Love chickens! They are fun and like pets, Their eggs keep our family fed!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Horses, Dogs, cats and rescuing animals.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets
We have 4 kids, Dogs, Cats, horses, birds, and chickens.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found it from fb and always want to learn more and get advice on chickens. I have a sick chicken now, that I posted about in the urgent section.
