Hi all. I am a new chicken mommy. I currently have 3 5 1/2 weeker’s. Sally is an Americauna, Buffy is a Buff Orpington & Pippy, she’s either a Prairie Bluebell or Olive Egger. I don’t know because her look alike died by day 2.

Speaking of Pippy, I’m afraid she may be a Pepe? I’m not sure, but today I noticed she grew a Mohawk.

Could it be that Rural King got it wrong?

The mohawk likely means that the blue egg gene in her came from a Crested Cream Legbar. It's not indicative of gender.

TSC is known to not label their chicks right. So that is a possibility, too.
