hey neighbor kim, where in OC are you? i planned on just getting two... after some chicken math i came home with 5 (cuz i live in the city....)...supposedly one of each breed they had at the time. and i am checking everyday for eggs.. my EE and my marans are the biggest so far but only the marans has really red comb. i am guessing she'll be the first to lay

thanks again yall for all the welcomes... to answer your question Deb, like any typical chicken addict one thing leads to another and i find myself looking at incubators even though i keep telling myself that i am not going to go there (at the moment at least)haha maybe i just want more chickens... i am getting in too deep because i have thoughts about selling my 200 gallon fish tank to maybe support more chicken or chicken related expense
