I everyone I hope this is the right place to introduce myself. I live in Weaverville NC am divorced and have 4 children 3 boys ages 9, 3, and 4 months, and one girl shes 4 and thinks she is the boss of the others. I doen't have any chickens yet but I plan on getting some soon I would like to have maybe 3 or 4 or 5 just for the eggs. My grandparents had chickens when I was growing up and I always liked them they were fun to watch run around the yard chaseing bugs. Anyways this looks like a great place to meet alot of nice people and learn somethings to. Looking forward to getting to know everyone and there flocks.

Welcome to the BYC! Ohhhh, I wanted only 6 or 7 for my DH and I. That was last year.....this year...we are over 60 chickens, 8 ducks, and 2 turkeys. Im not sure HOW that happened!

What was once a nice quiet little flock...in one little coop and run...is now several flocks... with 5 coops, and 2 more going in soon! Welcome to the MADNESS of being owned by a chicken flock.
