Hi, I am always needing information for my chickens and ducks..I have been raising chickens for a while and have not had many problems..on the other hand my ducks are a different story, I first had 2 khaki camels that had been great, but one passed away so I then added 3 mallards, out of those 4 ducks I hatched a baby, to this day they have never accepted her..then I added 10 more ducklings, I never had any leg problem with the first 6 ducks then with the new 10 ducklings (even though they were fine when I got them) 3 of them became crippled, one passed away one is crippled but gets along great and one is somewhat crippled. I contacted where I purchased them and the first thing they talked about was lack of Niacin so I purchased it and have been adding it to their water every since..the crippled one seem to be getting along better but I doubt it will ever be reversed as they were about 7 weeks when I started them on the niacin..I learned a valuable lesson here and am so happy to be on this blog for information, I have already read so much!! Thank you all!!

So sorry to hear about your duck troubles. Hopefully the duck keepers here can help you with any questions.
This is a great place to gather information :thumbsup or just hang out for the day and avoid chores :lau .
