Ok so in reptiles you can tip the scales of the sex of the hatchlings by the temperature the eggs are incubated at. Is the same true in birds? Curious if anyone had tried this or read info on this subject. thanks!

What's abnormal about having incubators and chicks inside the house?!!! I don't see a problem with that!!!! Heck I know people who bring their abandoned lambs and kids inside. My uncle lost a mare and brought the foal inside!! Heck what are you going to do if the barn is cold and the baby colder??!! Heck with what comes in on our shoes....!! We also have finch, snakes, birds, a gecko, and chinchilla inside. and there are many who have their dogs and cats inside too! SO...why not chicks?!! I have been doing this most of my life so I just don't see an issue!! Seems totally normal to me. BUT, if it is not for others, that is fine too!!
