Hi I am new

One of my 4-5 days old chick is fighting/attacking my other chicks which are of the same age which sometimes start bleeding. he also attacks much older chicks(2-3 weeks old) which in return hit him really hard, so hard he get badly hurt. What should I do to stop his aggression?

Lower your heat temp. When they get warm, they can become aggressive. For this age, they should be somewhere around 85-88 degrees. Always use a red or infra red bulb, white lighting is too excitable. Give them things to do as well. Chicks get bored at this age, I like to put in branches to climb on, I also put in a small low box with things to scratch around on. It burns calories and keeps them calm. Get them out on the living room floor for field trips each day for about 10 mins. (Keep all danger, dogs and kids at bay while they are out.)

I think I read somewhere that while they can be aggressive to other birds, they can also be very loving to their owners, maybe you can tell us if this is true? Thank you for joining us here on BYC...
The hens are quit friendly, they sometimes eat from my hands, but one of my roosters is super shy and scared of humans because the previous owner had him free ranged and rarely interacted with him, and my other rooster was very friendly also ate from my hands, but after introducing him to my hens he has become very aggressive towards humans, so I would say it depends on the owner and the bird, Every bird has a different attitude and behaviour (most of them are friendly)
(sorry for spelling mistakes and bad grammar)
