I guess per usual I jumped right in to find what I needed to know for whatever task I was bent on and never sound the social section to introduce myself. Typical though I did bump the MO thread. I'm doing this for the contest. Thanks for all the help so far. I started with chickens in August. I have RIR, Barred rocks, and three Buff/EE crosses one of which is a young roo. 6/16 hens have started laying and the roo started trying to crow last week. Greetings from Joplin Missouri

Oh, I forgot I added two Lavender Orpingtons three weeks ago that are now sixteen weeks just because they are pretty. Yes, the disease has struck.

Hello @daxigait and belated

!

I LOVE Lavender Orpingtons, I just think they're gorgeous. When (notice I said when, not if - despite my husband's protests there will be more

) I get more chickens I really want some of those girls! I'd love some cream legbars too. Oh, I think it's obvious that the chicken bug has bitten me as well!

me too full EE's in the spring just for blue and green eggs to go with the pink and brown.
BTW do you know how I can link this for the contest????

I believe I just copied the link from the address bar and pasted into my contest entry. Hope that's what they wanted!

Welcome to BYC. That contest has certainly bumped up the number of people doing belated intros. That is fine for us and keeps us busy. So now you are OFFICIALLY a Bycer.
