I bought four one month old pullets from a woman who bought the brown egg layer assortment and am very, very new to chickens. My parents had them when I was young but that doesn't count as experience in my book. I just got them Monday and according the the seller they will be six weeks old in a couple of days. I'm pretty sure I have a Barred Rock, a Partridge, and a Golden Comet, but am stumped on the white and grey one. Neck feathers are just starting to erupt and appear white but she has a couple of really light grey feathers on her tail and wings. I also hope they are all pullets since I cannot have roosters in this suburb of Des Moines. Can anyone help me out with identification and gender? I would really appreciate it. I have been searching online for five days straight. I'm not sure why I am so obsessed with knowing exactly what they are, but I find I really am. Thank you.

So hard to get pictures of them. They are like two year olds on candy. Do these help? Her "legs" are green, and getting greener everyday, and her toes are yellow.

It looks like what I've seen in pictures as a pea comb. It's really small, especially compared to the others. Her skin is pink and it, along with the area around her comb, gets darker when she eats at night. Her actual comb still is pale for the most part though. I see some dark pink around where her wattles would be then, too. Only in the evening though. They do eat like they are starving right before bed.

I was reading a little about Jersey Giants last night and one thing that does vote towards that side is the fact that she is my smallest and doesn't really have any head or neck feathers yet. It's so hard to see her comb even when I hold her because of all the baby fur. Apparently Jersey's grow slow at first and have a calm temperament and she certainly does. Wyandotte is on my list of possibilities, too.
None of my babies like to be touched yet. The woman I got them from had two really small children who played with them all the time. They didn't seem gentle at all when I was there. I don't think the grown ups spent as much time with them as the toddler and baby did. So I spend a lot of time, as do my pre-teens and teens, just laying down near them and not grabbing them much. Hence why I cannot get a good picture of the comb yet. I never seem to have my phone on me when I am holding her. :/
