Hi I,m new to chickens my chickens come in 10 days!

They will be around 16 weeks. I,m getting 6 how much room will I need and how many nesting boxes? Thanks for any help

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Generally rule of thumb is 4-5 sq.feet per bird in the coop excluding nest boxes & roosts., and 10 sq.feet per bird in the outside run. Better more room than. Chickens get very cranky when they are crowded and act out by fighting, feather plucking and at extreme cannibalism
