Hi Everyone,
well,my family and i just bought our first Chickens last week end.And i have to say that i am in total love with them.
I didnt realise before we had them what beautiful,fun and relaxing animals they are.
I love them so much and look foward every morning seeing my girls.
We were only able to get four,which is nice for us anyway.
We have two Isa Browns named Milo and Bumble and two Bantams names snowball and Fluffy.(yes,i have three young boys who named them).
We have a massive coop and my husband has made a run around the coop for when my boys have their friends over.I know my boys would never hurt them,but i wouldnt take the risk with some other kids!
The Chickens have been out in the run for the last three afternoons and im already itching to give them the whole back yard just seeing the weeding they have done in their run!
We are going to leave them in their run for a few more days now.We have a very intriged Golden Retriever,who would be more scared of them.But we just want them all to get used to each other being around.
Anyway,i could go on and on..
I cant wait to have a look around and ask all questions!
So happy to have found a place i can talk Chickens with out people not knowing what my love is about.LOL.
