I was born and grew up in Central Massachusetts, and from a young age have volunteered & worked on small organic farms, urban ag farms/gardens, & community gardens. I also attended The Mountain School in Vershire, Vermont, which is where I had my first foray into taking care of livestock, and particularly chickens (I had chicken duty for a while).

Thanks! We (my family) recently got 6 Ayam Cemani chickens. We got them at about 6 or 7 weeks old. They're now 15 weeks old! 5 roosters, and 1 hen.
