Hi I'm MinxFox's boyfriend Aaron, the hatcher and owner of Taco. I am eager to converse with all you fine people about peafowl and what not.

MinxFox: Hey this is MinxFox on Aaron's account. I am glad to have brought another person to the dark side...Mwahahaha! Just kidding I hope Aaron has lots of fun on here.:)

Aaron!
Can I jump in here first and say that I am a big fan of Taco, who is terribly cute.
If you're going to spend time here with us...you had better take lots of pictures.
And, of course...

Aaron! I cannot wait to see more pictures of Taco! Taco and Peep are my inspiration to imprint a peachick this year.

Awesome news everyone!

Today it was very rainy so the peafowl were pretty soaked (except for Peep, Alto, and the two yearling boys). Anyways I was busy giving the peafowl some food and Aaron was feeding them sunflower seeds when he walked up to give some to Alto (my only mature peacock, he is four), who was on a perch, and Alto wouldn't eat from Aaron's hand but instead moved his beak near Aaron and Aaron then touched Alto's beak, then started stroking Alto's chin and neck! I couldn't believe what I was seeing! I got Alto as a yearling peacock so he has been with me for a while and he has always been friendly. He has never let me touch him though. I have tried before but it would only spook him and he would quickly move away. I slowly moved my hand to Alto and I too was able to stroke him. He is not sick too he is acting just fine, eating, calling, etc. He was just very tame today and I can't wait to see if he will let me pet him tomorrow. Alto seemed to like the petting we gave him.

I wonder if after watching us pet Peep so much he decided to let us pet him, although I did notice he was lowering his head to his favorite peahen on the other side of the perch trying to get her to preen him, so maybe he just really wanted to be preened and he was fine with even a person's attention since the peahen wasn't really preening him.

It was great! I would love for all of them to get that way...We tried to pet the white peacock, but it was obvious he did not want us to reach out to him.

Anyways I felt like sharing Aaron's amazing moment.

My husbands name is Aaron and they are the pea whisperers, they like him better than me and i'm the one that feeds them! no matter what he's doing they follow him around.

Oh and Welcome Aaron :) awesome to have a new pea person! Minx's lucky to have you :)
