Hi , im a new memeber female budgie agression

Hi, i have 2 budgies male and female they have been together for 2 years now and have just had baby budgies about 5 days ago and some eggs are still to hatch, since yesterday she has been attacking the male and not letting him in the nest box..please help what do i do bout this.

Maybe male budgies have a tendency to harm babies and mama is just being protective. I've never had budgies either and our canary was a bachelor.
