I'm trying to. I just feel like I going to scare them to death! Some are friendly and come to me (unfortunately I think it might be a roo) and eat out of my hand. Others are so scared.
Asking questions here is never dorky, it's smart. We never think anyone with the brains to ask stuff is dorky. The dorks are the ones who DON'T ask and who don't have the courage to ask cause they think they might look like they don't know IT ALL if they ask a question or two.. or twenty!!
Try reaching in by putting your arm down the side of the box, then moving your hand low and under so your arm isn't threatening them... yeah they'll still run around like chickens and act flakey, but oh well, the more you do it the less they'll react badly. It's true that the more you do it the easier they get with it... They look very cute and happy, you must be doing something right!!
