Hi! I'm a rookie

Greetings from Palmyra, Virginia (just east of Charlottesville in Central Va). I'm a rookie chicken owner, just got our first 4 yesterday, and will be getting 3 others on Tuesday. We are "adopting" from a friend who is moving, and from a family member who has too many for his space.

Our flock is very mixed, 2 bantams, a silkie, an Easter egger, and I'm not sure about the other 3 yet.

Excited about this new adventure! Even got 2 eggs on the first morning.
