Hi I'm a total Newby.

My Bluebell is a hybrid. She is a grey coloured body and a darker head. On getting to know her she is less sociable with humans (I Just say she's shy) and at the moment not laying. I am trying to upload an image but it won't work. I will keep trying.

Molting is when a hen sheds old feathers, and devotes protein intake to new feathers rather than egg production. Protein and calcium are the key ingredients for egg production.

Can last upto a couple weeks. I'm not real familiar with that breed, but production birds will generally only go a day or so, sometimes they'll continue to lay through a move.
