Yesterday, day 20, the electricity went out for 2 hours. Could this have maybe affected my chicken eggs? Please help, so scared!

Can you candle the eggs to see if there's actually babies in them? If you are in a warm area. I wouldn't think it would hurt them. Just might take a little longer for developing!

Do not panic, and do not handle your eggs - leave them in lockdown. I never hear my eggs peep or see wiggling until they start to hatch. Some chicks can take a little longer, depending on your incubator. Patience - and good luck.

''Duckincubator'' - black mass and veins is good and normal! If there's no indication of a blood ring or blood spot then all is well

Don't candle a lot. It disturbs the development of the embryo. Always candles from day 10 until day 18, by then you're embryo is developed enough to handle light. Do not candle more then once a day, it is vital for you're duckling! Also, make sure humidity and temperature is always right then you have nothing to worry about!
