You know how they call people who love food, foodies? Well I'm a beddie. I always have extra blankets out, even when its in the 100s.Hi Janie, our nights are getting longer too, and a bit chillier. Are you pulling out any extra blankets yet?
I'm glad to hear you are doing an interview! Looking forward to it.Hi Debby! We were going to make more cider to freeze... Then the kitchen sink drain decided to plug up! Waiting on water to go down a bit so I can take it apart so I can power snake it! Always something! Around here it`s about like my old job at our local public school system as the Head Maintenance man! One more tree to pick then done picking but tons of processing! I need to have our daughter work on my iphone so I can install the BYC app. That would make it much simpler to send photos for the interview. ( I haven`t forgotten) just very busy! I am sorry it has taken so long to get it to you.![]()
Both... at times...The anxiety affliction or the bossy husband affliction?![]()
Amazing!Thank you Debby…Fridge shot. The rest are in the fridge in the shop.

I hope you have a wonderful time and beautiful weather!Good morning y'all!
I hope everyone has a great weekend. I have to get busy. I need to get the house ready for our Sunday company.
We took a trip to Collin Street Bakery yesterday. We bought 2 dozen cookies and a couple of cheesecake. They only had two flavors, a white chocolate cheesecake, which we haven't tried, and we also got the key lime, which is wonderful.
I'm going to make a pot of charo beans, regular cornbread and jalapeño cornbread muffins, and a pan of baked macaroni and cheese. The kids are bringing bq meats, coleslaw, green salad and potato salad, chocolate chip cookies and banana pudding. It sounds like an overabundance of food but I'm sure everyone will do their part to polish it off.
I have heated throws, blankets and heating pads. I'm snuggled under a throw at the moment, with the living room fan on! My husband just shakes his head at me...You know how they call people who love food, foodies? Well I'm a beddie. I always have extra blankets out, even when its in the 100s.
(But soon I'll be piling fake fur on my bed.)
Men just don't understand the importance of the cozy factor. You need both cold air & multiple blankets to obtain zen.I have heated throws, blankets and heating pads. I'm snuggled under a throw at the moment, with the living room fan on! My husband just shakes his head at me...![]()
Exactly! Although, as we've gotten older he is not always adverse to sharing my electric blanket...Men just don't understand the importance of the cozy factor. You need both cold air & multiple blankets to obtain zen.
