Hi, I'm Avery

I am completely new to owning chickens. I've been working on becoming more self-sufficient - learning to garden, tan hides, forage, hunt, raise chickens, etc. My soon to be grandma-in-law, Darlene, loves chickens and has been my main guide in learning about them, with my only other source being internet research and my fiancé, Lucas (who learned everything he knows from Darlene). We love fresh eggs and very much enjoy observing the chickens and all the little noises they make. Lucas and I started a business together this past summer, got engaged shortly after, bought our first home, and are now working to make our home into a homestead.

I don't know the breeds as the lady I bought them from didn't know their breeds.
