yes! i overhear a lot of bad advice. Luckily the manager of our local store is a great guy. After my chick mix up I just mainly talk to him. You know, I've used this site for all sorts of advice the past few years but now that im a member it feels so different! I am super excited lol

It's been my experience with farm stores that the majority of their employees are not very knowledgeable about poultry. I once had to explain to an employee that the females WILL lay eggs without a rooster. That's just one of many examples.

@NFC above, I've seen that in a good number of pet shops where people ask advice to be told a load of rubbish by someone who only started working there last week lol.

I have on the odd occasion pulled the customer to one side and told them the correct information, I was once overheard and told to leave the store, I'm glad the customer left with me too lol.
