Hi, new to the group,
Purchased 2 new ducks this year, (hybrid 300) one drake one hen, they are the sweetest breed so far we have ever had. They are 4 weeks old came in the house yesterday so they are VERY friendly! Have had ducks in the past, predators are the battle!
Decided to try Chickens this year so I got 6 Bantams, 4 have feathered feet and are Millefeurs, 3 normal & 1 porcelain , the other 2 I am not sure of their breed, they are brown either Welsumers, Brown Leghorn or Old English ?? They are about 3 weeks old so still a few weeks before I will know for sure.
Grew up on a farm so use to chickens just never had all the responsibilities other than collecting eggs.
Love gardening and growing flowers. I have a small greenhouse love to be outside, photographer, mom of 3 kids who the last one is graduating this May.
