I was raised on the farm and stayed there till I was 18. I'm now 62 and living in SoCal with my better half and we have a backyard mixed flock of 14 atm. Buff and White Orps make for five of them. We also have Barred Rocks (three) Columbian Wyandottes (three) and Jersey Giants (three). We also have in our brooder atm six SL Wyandottes which are 4 weeks old.
We had chickens on the farm and as a kid was always intrigued that they always followed me around, jumped up in my lap and sat there with me. I had to retire from trucking and was at it for thirty plus years. Being forced into it so to say was hard so I needed something to do and chickens was it, and here we are today. Look forward to chatting on the forums with you all
