Taking the step to getting our first flock of chickens was the best thing we ever did as a family!!!! Ot has been so rewarding! When I come home from a long days work instead of wine....I go interact woth the chickens.

I totally feel ya! I define life before chickens and after.

Congrats on the chickens!!!!! It is very rewarding too have a flock you will now finding your self always looking for stuff too do too the coop or them they are great just remember a chicken farmers work is never done and no flock is too be

Looking forward to it LibbyPchickadee cause that sounds awesome, They already follow my finger around and if i tap on something they go and peck on it too. I love it! it time to start my garden up and i am going to add a chicken garden around their coop as well i also have to add a bee garden for my bees LOL, who needs sleep!

Kiki if you want to somewhat do a blog you might want to do it in the section of BYC Family Life or something.

My Whyndotte are very docile and will follow me all over the place they have been a great bird and would recommend them too any one starting a new flock good and cold hardy too which is a plus for where I live
