Hi, I'm new to raising backyard chickens have been doing this for 2 months. I think I have two roosters that are 8 weeks old. I bought 10 chicks from a straight run and I think I have two roosters. I tried sexting them by their tail feathers when I bought them. I think one is a brown leghorn and the other a black Maran. Any advice is appreciated.

Hi and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us.

It does look like you have two little fellas although i understand that some breeds are fast to mature in terms of comb and wattle development. I hope that you are allowed to keep roos where you live.

    All the best
