hi im new...and nervouse

It is a preset thermostat but it can be adjusted if needed. No, it is not digital. It is reliable. I had a new 1588 that kept cutting out on me - something in thepower supply. I bought it direct from GQF. I called them about the problem. The next day I had a brand new replacement. Now, that is customer service in my book.

I also go for the hovabator 1588. Loved it so much I just ordered another one several days ago. The temp and humidity has stayed right on the money. I got mine on Ebay for $120. total. then you can get a turner for it with chicken and quail racks for $46. plus shipping. Karen
