Thank you for all the "Welcomes!" 
The chickens we were thinking of ----are listed as "Araucana/Americana " (The Easter Egg Chicken). And it says they have some Araucana & some American blood mixed so they aren't for show. Which isn't our intent. We used to have little finches, years ago, & they also behaved like chickens.... I figure they aren't too awful different! Just BIGGER! AND will give us nice eggs & meat! I'm guessing I need to go to another area to post more questions! So, if I come up with more....Thank you again for your "Welcomes!"
