Hi, I'm new here :). First time incubating eggs and concerned with humidity

Hi and welcome to BYC :frowWe're so happy you've decided to join us:ya

How often to add water tends to be tied to the incubator and it sounds like you've already figured that out. I have a humidity pump that takes care of it for me. Your eggs should be fine. I keep humidity for duck eggs between 40 & 45% until lockdown and then bump up to 65%. I also run my temp at 99.8*F. Did you calibrate your hygrometer? If not, do a quick search "how to calibrate a hygrometer" on this site and follow the instructions. You'll be glad you did.
