Hi im new here i. First time duck mummy im on day 23 of incubating and so excited to see how it goes

Do you know how to candle the eggs, so you can tell which are alive and which aren't?

Honestly, ducks are a lot of fun. Kids love them too. And they are more interesting than chickens. Chickens aren't bad. We like chickens too. But ducks have some advantages that chickens don't. So I think you'll like them.

If you are at day 23 then you are about a bit less than a week away from what your hatch day should be. By now also, you might have a better idea how many eggs are viable if you can candle them.

If things don't work out, keep trying. The first time doing egg hatching you are probably going to run into problems. Don't give up and keep trying. Its worth it, not just for the fun but any useful agriculture skill you can use to help your family with lower grocery costs, and better nutrition.
Yes all good think I have 6 out of the 8 ....day 24
