Hi! I'm new here. My Chinese goose egg is on day 24 or 25, and I don't see even the slightest veins..just darkness and the air cell. Late death?

Basically, I don't really know when my Chinese goose started sitting, but based on what I saw during candling (see picture above), it looks like she's been sitting for 24 or 25 or more days already (lockdown). When I candled the other eggs (there are 4 eggs in total), one of the air cells were starting to get large; as if the gosling was ready to pip internally, and I also didn't see any veining, just darkness. I hope the gosling will make it

I’m not an expert in incubating, I let my girls do the job themselves.

All I know is that some of mine looked like that, some hatched, others did not.
Also larger breeds take longer to pip, 30 days sometimes.

There were 3 eggs that looked like this and they died... however 1 of them already hatched. The other live egg is still pipping internally.

Here is the first gosling! He/she can't really walk properly though, but doesn't have spraddle leg. He/she just scoots with her belly and uses her legs to bring herself/himself around. I once saw a forum where goslings aren't very steady on their feet for a while.

How precious it can take a few days for them to get their legs under them. Does she try at all to stand? If you have nutridrench or liquid b complex you could put some in her water.

I have a water soluble vitamin supplement she doesn't really try to stand, but really tries hard to get around
