Hi I'm new to all this. Hatching quail eggs. Bad experience last time.

The number one thing is to learn your incubator.
Make sure You have at least one calibrated thermometer in it and a salt tested humidity gauge.
This means you must purchase a separate thermometer and humidity gauge and you cannot trust the built-in thermometer or temperature reading on your incubator.

Which incubator do you have?
The incubator is a Jumbl. I bought a separate hygrometer that also had the temperature. It never jived with what the incubator read . I wasn't sure which one to believe.
