(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
*Growing up my family always had a small flock of chickens as well as pheasants and quail. Most of my adult life I have had chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
*23 but I also own an incubator so that number changes often
(3) What breeds do you have?
*I have Ameraucana, FBCM, a couple of Australorps and Olive Eggers
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
*I have always enjoyed watching them and now egg colors thrill me, and the babies... Love the babies. And I might slightly be addicted to incubating
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
*Horse back riding, cruising with hubby and just chilling.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
*well... married to the man of my dreams, one horse, 5 dogs and a Severe Macaw.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
*Many Google searches took me to BYC. I joined so I could show some appreciation for all who educate and share here. I am here to learn and hopefully at some point contribute as well.
