I live in Texas on a cattle ranch and have had chickens for a while. I recently hatched some Bobwhite Quail eggs in a brooder (using a brooder for the first time) and one out of the 15 chicks that hatched has spraddle legs. I have never had this problem before but have never used a brooder. I have put braces on his legs but he still cannot walk with them. I was hoping to get some other ideas to help him. He is 7 days old now. He doesn't try to get his legs under him without help.
