My name is Lori and I'm brand new. I have always had an interest in raising chickens. So much info here it's amazing.

I'm from Kelowna, BC very warm summers here. I have a couple of good feed stores in my area and they too, will have lots of info.

So I will take the time now to say thanks one and all for your patience.

Sounds like you're getting off to a good start, by doing your research before taking the plunge. That usually results in a better chicken experience, for both you, and your chickens.

hi lori its hard at first on here . I went thru the same thing but this is a website true and honest all about our feathered friends... yes we are all here for you

Hi Featherhead,

It's a touch overwhelming to start that's for sure. But that's okay. Might you know which direction to send me in re feed etc.? I'm trying to get an idea of monthly costs etc.
