Hi i'm new here. I don't have chickens but i want to get some. I'm planning on moving from the city to the country when i'm done with school.
I want to learn as much as i can about chickens therefore i am here.

And in the meantime... have you considered Japanese Coturnix Quail? You can learn A LOT about chickens by raising other birds (like quail) in the meantime; With a couple of 2x3' (about 1 or 2 feet tall) cages (can stack one on the other) and about 10 quail chicks, you would have enough space to have one cage for future breeding stock and eggs, and the other for excess males to grow out and re-home (or eat). Just saying... no reason to be without birds just because you're not in the country yet.
