Hi I am new to the site. I used to have chickens but I moved about 3 years ago and gave away my chickens before moving. I haven't had chickens for this whole time but my husband is now interested in us raising chickens for eggs. I was looking into the regulations in our new town and came across a post on this website. It looked interesting so I decided to Join! So hi everyone, nice to meet you!

It’s nice to meet you!
Good luck starting a new flock if you decide to get some again!

I had Rhode Island Reds last time, I was thinking I might get Australorps this time around as we live in the Midwest and I think they should stand up to the cold winters fairly well. Also we want the chickens for eggs and I believe that they are excellent layers, If you have a suggestion I'm all ears though.
