Hi,I'm new

Hello, I am a normal girl from west central Florida.I was really attracted to farm life,but in my town I couldn't have anything but chickens(four hens).So I decided that's what i needed.Now I still don't have any, but I will get chicks from TSC this spring! Actually I am only 10 so it's pretty tough convincing my parents to actually get chickens.Now they agreed, so next trip to TSC we will get the coop, chicks,feed,and anything else. I've been doing research, ever since I learned that I can have chickens.If you have any information, it would be very helpful.I need to know as much as I can, to take care of my new chicks!

Great that you are going to be keeping chickens!!! They are tons of fun to keep. Make sure to spend time with them as babies so they really bond with you when they grow up. Then they will stalk you for attention!

Kelsie left you with some great links. Read in the learning center as that will tell you all about raising your new babies, how to care for them when they grow to be hens and how to keep them healthy.
