nice coop and welcome to byc. don't forget the predators also dig and tunnel. many people bury wire 12 to 16 inches down. I built my coop right on top of wire I rolled out. to lazy to dig lol. good luck.

I love your design, that's how I wanted mine. Here is a pic of mine so you can sorta see how I buried my hardware cloth. We had the contractor dig down about 12 -18 inches and he put in post and also rock, then attached the wire and again buried it all with rock like you see here. https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/our-3rd-and-final-coop-maybe. I have had it for almost 2 years and haven't had any issues with any animals getting in. :frow
 
Okay i got my roosting bars up... also my 3 girls old red road island and 2 new hampshires blondy and shadow are all squatting does this mean I might be getting an egg soon? They will be 5 month's old on the 19th.... the leghorns are 4 month's on the 15th they don't squat yet. Thanks Mary
