I never actually did one of these... so here I go!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Nope! No where new to chickens! I have had chickens for 13 years. (Or the chickens have had me.)

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Erm.... 31 I think.... oh, plus Buddy. The Demon Chicken. (She broke the chicken pen fence the other day!
)
(3) What breeds do you have?
4 Plymouth Rocks, 4 Silkies, 4 Coronation Sussex's, 4 Light Sussex's, 3 Belgium Bearded D'uccles, 2 ISA Browns, 1 Wyandotte, 1 Old English Game, 1 Araucana (Buddy) + 8 cross breeds.
(4) What are your favourite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
The joy.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Photography, writing, coin colleting, chickens, reading (I read at least 5 books a week.)
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
My other pets are: guppies, snails, shrimp, 2 dogs, a cat, 2 rabbits, 3 birds, 1 blue tongue lizard.
My soon to be job: I'm gonna be an author! I just have to finish editing and stuff and then I'm done!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I can't remember...
Oh... yes! I had a question about incubating, I didn't know if the babies would be alright since the incubator stopped turning. They were fine. (I was paranoid since the last hatch had gone really, really badly. Only one hatched but he died 2 weeks later.
