I had chickens when I was in high school for FFA.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
5 hens and 1 rooster, plus Tom and Tammy, the turkeys
(3) What breeds do you have?
A mix of what my daughter picked at Tractor Supply
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I love their personalities and curiosity and I also love that my grandkids are learning to help with them
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Crocheting, gardening, scrapbooking and raising grandkids
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I live with my daughter and son in law 8 hours away from my house and husband. I'm happy here with family and farm animals and green trees!
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
