Hey all, I'm hoping to find lots of info here, all the posts so far are very helpful but there's just one thing I haven't fully identified and that I'm hoping to get confirmation on. But first, the into

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Sort of, mum had chickens for ages but for me it was, feed chickens, water chickens and collect eggs.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
Currently me and my wife have 10 little chicks.

(3) What breeds do you have?
6 Brahma and 4 platinum sussex.

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I get to tend to a flock of small feathered dinosaurs, the eggs are a bonus.

(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I've got a couple 1970s Chrysler galants that I'm trying to restore, my daily which is a wagon and a sedan, which used to be my daily until I got the wagon.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
Other pets include 2 dogs, a border collie and a cattle dog cross something, my wife also has 2 horses. Mum however probably has too many pets as last I checked I'm sure the tally was somewhere around 2 horses, 3 dogs, 3 sheep, and maybe 10 chickens. As for work I'm a sparky by trade.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? :D
I was googling around to find out what a weird growth(?) Could be on one of our chicks beaks, it could potentially be nothing but it may not be so I joined to double check.

Welcome to BYC! Thanks for joining.

It sorta looks like a wart but I'm not sure if chickens can get those. :idunno
Thats what I was wondering, it was a helpful thread here that I saw which said it could be a Papillomatosis which is just a wart, it was on a thread where another users chicken sadly had wet pox. I've been watching it for the past week and it's only grown a little bigger. For the moment I'm just watching and making sure it doesn't get worse. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
