Hi Julie from Reno Nevada

I'm new too, but

. Good luck with your chicken adventures.

Coop looks amazing and I'm sure your girls will be VERY happy. I would have gone that route (pre-made) if we weren't so budget constrained at the moment. But I suppose my pallet project has kept me busy as well as being nearly free. I look forward to seeing pics of the chicks when they arrive. We just got ours this week and I just got done plastering their baby pictures all over BYC Forums - haha. I'm sure you'll be doing the same thing very soon.

My wife and I are looking to have a little network of chicken folks here in Reno for egg trading, chicken-sitting, and sharing other farm/garden related stuff, etc. so if you'd like to stay connected, let me know!

Ya I probably went a little over board with the pre made coop as far as price but I wanted my chickens to have plenty of room. I really couldn't afford it either .... but anyway. I love yours, very roomy, I am sure your babies will be very happy there. And yes ... I am looking forward to plastering my chick pictures on this sight. What kind are yours? I am getting 3 white leghorn, 3 Easter eggers and 5 barred rock .... Not until the 30th though. I am very anxiously waiting.

I got my pawhut through sears (to keep it affordable)...the 7ft outdoor w/the run. If I had seen the one like yours, I would have gotten it! but, I'm liken the one I got and so are my little chicks. They're almost ready to go outside permanently; yesterday was their first day in the run (while I cleaned out their brooder) and today I let them check out the coop itself too w/run time for about an hour. SO MUCH FUN TO WATCH THEM EXPLORE!
