honestly, the coop design was super fun! I LOVE looking at all the coops people have made! My skill/money was eventually what limited me, but I got a decent coop

but its very fun to look at all the different ways and options people have gone with! if you look at the very top of your page you'll see the coop design button...have you looked at those yet?
 
So, I'm going to start reading about whether it is better to start with chicks or full-grown chickens. There seems to be a lot of information about breeds and which are better natured or better layers, and there seems to be so many breeds to choose from and tons of opinions about all of them. Do you choose one over the other because of looks or hardiness or location or what?
