If you got them from Tractor Supply, they would have been 2-3 days old. That is unless you bought them as unsold older ducklings, but in that case they would have been Older than you were told.

I was told they were a week when we bought them is what the lady said and she kept them for a couple weeks with her heat lamp and chicks for us. I guess we’re going to have to wait a few more weeks. Then check into if we need more females.

That’s what I have read. One has an iridescent look that is slowly changing on the head. I’m thinking we may need to get a couple more hens. I have yet to see any drake feathers. I wonder if they are younger than we were

My thought was that it was a week or 2 after Easter so they might be older but I don’t quite believe it yet. I think we picked them from the lady who kept them as babies on end of April. Two I call twins have been smaller than the largest until now it’s starting to catch up. I heard drakes were smaller than hens but catch up eventually. I have been searching for a tail feather they probably think I’m crazy! Lol

One cute thing is they do talk to me more than others but I don’t get to spend time in the mud cause my wheelchair. But I love these animal!!

Do they make noise?

Yes. I can tell that one quacks.. and if I’m right ..been the biggest of the 3. The other two I call “ twins” cause they’ve been smaller than the other one( the darker bill looking) since we first got them, sounds quieter than the other one too. They are starting to catch up. They follow Cack ( dark bill) everywhere.

that’s exactly what I was doing lol! I kept returning here for info and I too said heck with it! I need to get to know more and meet people who have the same questions etc.
