Hi Tony. Welcome to BYC from The Heartland of Kentucky! Some Barred Plymouth Rocks are a duel purpose breed. We have them on our farm and love the extra large eggs they supply us with daily. It's not uncommon to find an egg with double yolks in the nesting boxes after these girls finish laying for the day. If you look at our profile image you'll see our barred Plymouth Rocks.
